This is a great photo of a young couple expecting the birth of their child soon.
The mother is pushing. Her vagina is bulging, showing the shape of the head that has caused so much pain. The tiny opening reveals a very small area of the top of the babies large head. You can see that she has stretched so much its likely she will tear as the baby continues to force its way out. The expecting father reaches down and gently touches his child encouraging his wife to push through the pain and bring his child into the world.
I sometimes wonder what it was like for people of our past to give birth. What do you think?

The mother has been pushing and push and push for some time now.
All the pushing is starting to finally pay off for the tired mother induring a painful labor.
After a while of pushing… you can finally see the top of the baby’s head!
You can see the whole baby’s head bulging under the mother’s skin as she pushes. Mother is begging to tear as her baby’s head is forced out of her small opening. Others stand near and encourage her to continue as she is starting to feel no end in sight and wants to stop pushing!
The baby’s head is coming down farther with each push, but it is still only budging under the skin not actually coming out of the mothers narrow opening. If mother is going to deliver this baby she will need to push harder through the pain of having a LARGE newborn head coming out of her small vagina.
Mother is feeling VERY tired. She feels alot of pressure and pain of her baby’s head ripping out of her with each push.
She wants to give up and let all the pushing she has work so hard for GO BACK IN.
The mother has been pushing for some time and her baby is taking it’s time and making a VERY slow entrance into the world.
After lots and lots of pushing begging for people around her to “PLEASE JUST PULL IT OUT OF ME, PULL IT OUT”… She has finally delivered the entire baby’s head. She still is not done but the rest is easy compared to what she has been through!
