This is a video of mom in intense amount of pain. She choose the vocalize what her body was experiencing. She stated that she was embarrassed but I would like to ensure her this is nothing to be embarrassed about.
Screaming is a natural response to giving birth!
Childbirth is my favorite part of pregnancy. I’m a surrogate mom and one of the biggest reasons I choose to have babies for other people is to experience pregnancy and childbirth without adding members to my own family. The last time I gave birth the baby was very large and I was over due. I had a very hard time pushing him out. I pushed for several hours before his head could be seen. I was fully dilated contractions started before the last one stopped. I PUSHED and PUSHED and stood and rocked. The baby was a very tight fit. I screamed and screamed. I begged for someone to reach in side of me and pull him out. (Hospital was not an option. It was do or die. We were in the center of no where.) The longer I pushed the more intense things got. When I gave up and decided the kid would crawl out eventually the contractions and pain were unbearable. I wanted to die. I started screaming before my husband got me back to reality and told me to enjoy what I loved doing so much soon it would be over and I’d beg him to do it again. The baby had gotten so large that his body and my body had to work extra hard to change size to allow him to come out. He finally made it out safely but it was the hardest most intense labor I ever experienced. I’m not sure what hurt worse, his large body forcefully making his way out or pushing and pushing and not getting anywhere.
