Miserably excited

I’m feel like a whale. My body is bigger than it has ever been. I’m carrying two babies but they didn’t seem to get the message, twins and shouldn’t so big. It’s hot, I’m hot. I can hardly walk, get up, bend over, roll over, or eat. I have feet in my ribs and feet kicking low. Elbows here and another there. Thursday night, Baby B shifted to a new position. Baby A is still wedged head down pretty deep in my pelvis. Baby B moved suddenly and is now angled funny. They are snuggled up but not in a favorable position to make my belly compact. I measuring 43 before and with the shift I measure 46 1/4. And a few pretty stretch marks. The sudden change triggered contractions. I have been contracting regular since Thursday night. My cervix are still firm and closed. I’ve been having about 4-6 contractions an hour, lasting about 30-60 seconds each. My doctor said its normal  to have intense BH contractions late in twin pregnancy. He said they may be the real thing with how intense they are becoming but he said until they pick up they are just a pain to deal with.

I have a couple of excited daddies agar to meet the babies. We are having issues with the paperwork which is adding to the stress. I need them to stay put for a while. We really need to get the paper trail complete before I give birth. So silly it takes so long.

This pregnancy has been all levels of ups and downs. I’m so in love with the babies I’m growing and I love their fathers. I can not wait until they get to hold and experience what I am. I am growing bigger every day and LOVING IT! I’m so super excited to give birth. This is the first time I have been a traditional surrogate and my first multiple pregnancy. The babies I am carrying are ‘biologically’ mine and one or both of them fathers. I feel honored to bless this couple with the option of creating a family. We do not know what the babies genders but we do suspect they are identical, but to certain. My guess is double boys but it may just be a twin thing. I just know I’m crazy full of babies and I still have a wait ahead.

Both men have extremely low sperm count. Both were told they could not have a baby ever, no matter what. We changed that. Low count even extremely low count means A CHANCE. One sperm is all it takes. ONE! Even if it’s a small chance! We conceived 5 babies on the third try. One try we conceived but it ended early resulting in a normal cycle for me. That a the extremely low odds is the reason we did fertility treatments. We watched all the eggs I produced the first month (our waiting month) then we hit a grand slam the following cycle. FIVE babies planted themselves inside my womb. I ended up in the hospital, something I like to call, hormone overdose! We ended up doing a reduction to ensure a healthy pregnancy. (It was hard but a must.) We reduced by 2 and we lost another shortly after. So we have two little monkeys left, jumping in my womb, happy as can be! Love these monkeys ❤

Traditional surrogacy is defiantly something I want to do again and again, until I’m “too old.” It feels so much more natural from the start. Although this time I will not do fertility treatments to boost the odds. 😉

I’m looking to get pregnant again right way. I’d like to start trying around Christmas. So I’d like to get the ball rolling NOW. It takes time to get everything in place and get to know each other. 🙂  Plus all the time finding the perfect couple!

I’m willing to:

• carry multiples (up to 3)
• Use my egg (or eggs) to conceive (non-sexual of course!)
• work with low/very low sperm count (love the challenge!)
• have parents assist in delivering their baby (ie catching, cord cutting)
• travel to give birth in a special place if arranged before pregnancy.
• work with couples that have high risk of large/very large baby. (Experienced with big babies!)
• work with gay couples and non traditional families as long as one has a fertility issue and neither have children.

I only:

• give birth completely natural with a midwife in a ‘homebirth’ setting but not limited to ‘home’
• labor when it starts on its own.
• work with couples that have no chance on having a baby without the help of a surrogate.
• work with couples that have NEVER had a LIVE birth. Both mother or father(s).
• willing to work with parents having a biological connection to the baby (ie: Sperm must be the intended father(s).

Not willing to:

• parents with STD, etc.
• put on a birthing show. (so intended parents only!)
• induce unless the baby is confirmed and showing signs of needing out.
• In the past I have given birth to large babies that were carried to term or later and safely delivered via home birth.
• have a hospital/birthing center birth or c-sec unless the baby can not physically be born vaginally, my life is in danger, or my reproduction is at risk. 
• unnecessary testing during pregnancy for genetic abnormalities unless it affects my life or reproduction. As I will not terminate a child based on the results. 
• work with demanding inpatient couples wishing to control me and or my body. I will love and care for the baby. I demand respect and allow my body to do what it does best! My past pregnancies were known for baby hogging. So intended parents must have plenty of patients! I’ve had due dates come and go and had very long active labors. But my body works great and has always produced health happy babies even if it didn’t follow all the rules!
• have additional children (siblings) for the same couple.

The couple must:

• verify this will be their FIRST child resulting in a life birth or adoption. As a couple and individuals.
• be willing to participate in natural pregnancy.
• plan on attending childbirth (participating is a plus!)
• NOT be able to have their own child without the help of a surrogate. If not proof must show you have exhausted ALL other options short of adoption AND been seeing a reproduction specialist dating back at least 10 years. Or an obvious — like health issue making it unsafe, no uterus, no ovaries, no female etc.
• willing to provide updates and photos:
  – monthly updates (12-24 months).
  – 3 month updates (24-36 months).
  – 6 month updates 36 mos – 4yrs)
  – yearly updates (until 18!)
  – More is better and visits are great but not required. The only way to ‘let go’ of your own blood is knowing you he/she will be cared for and looking forward to the updates and sharing with my own children their “biological” siblings.

NOTE: 

• I’m Willing to acknowledge child on a personal level should the child feel the need to meet me or know who I am later on in life.
• I do not carry surrogate insurance anymore. You must provide the insurance or pay for any medical expensive.
• Willing to use my body but not my money!! 😛 LOL
  My fees are much lower than other surro-moms. I just ensure that I’m not paying for the pregnancy related expenses out of my pocket.

So little control

I spent part of the weekend in the hospital. If that place wasn’t packed with germs I would probably still be there but they said I’d be better at home. I guess since I don’t go there to deliver this is nothing!

But I am extremely sick. Honestly I have never felt so sick in my life. Lost of test were done to rule out complications and to ensure it’s not flu related. Negative and negative.  I’m very sick due to the crazy high hormones my body has pumping through it to create the several babies I successfully conceived on behave of two great soon to be fathers that had NEARLY zero sperm count and suffer from infertility. They tried several times using surrogates and eggs from different women. None produced a pregnancy. I agreed to conceive using their sperm and my own eggs and doing it traditionally. All three of us got fertility healthy and loaded up with treatments. We produced a pregnancy but it did not take. I was bummed about it but this is HUGE these guys can’t have a baby. Between the two of them at least on sperm found its way! At least that’s how the guys explained it. We took a month off  from trying and my daughter started me on fertility treatments. I know I’m fertile! But remember I have been a surrogate and experienced a lot but never  multiples and I would really like to — so I’m 1 million percent open to conceiving a multiple pregnancy for these guys! The doctor agreed they guys sperm being low was a problem and the more eggs we had available the more likely we would conceive.

Well fast forward – I’m very pregnant. We conceived  multiples. We have 3 babies with heartbeats all right there together. They are pretty sure we have a set of identically twins but they have a buddy right there with them! All 3 look great and healthy. But wait. More good news and bad news. We have another area of the womb occupied too. Two blobs. One blob was larger than the other. They said that was identical twins but almost certainly not vital along with the smaller blob. Can you believe that? While I’m sad that some did not make it after starting but I know its best. It just crazy to think! The guys are beyond thrilled not only do they have swimmers they had overachievers! Ok so who has the twins running in their family? That is surely the father, right? Nope. Neither guy or myself have ever had a set of twins anywhere in a trees.

So did you catch that all? I have three very healthy babies growing happily in my womb. And I am or was producing hormones to support the three non vital ones. My doctor came to see us and he said I will likely start feeling better once my body begins to absorb the non vital ones and that its probably best that this happened. If it didn’t help support the three healthy ones it will likely help make me less sick for the remainder of the pregnancy.

So the doc told us a natural vaginal delivery was possible if we could get far enough along. He is referring me to another doctor who has delivered triplets vaginally. But for now my goal is keeping these babies warm and cozy and working my big baby magic on them! My doctor said his goal is to keep them in until 34 weeks anything else is a bonus but knowing my history he thinks I can make it to 37 weeks easily.

So off to vomit and be in little control of my body at this time and day dream about the size my belly is going to max out at!

Seaching for my next intended parents

My husband and I are looking for our next couple to help. I’m still sore and recovering from the birth of our surroson. I could be ready to conceive as soon as the middle of October and would like to find someone before then to get to know.

I expect to be expecting by Christmas! 😉

I’m not in it for the money, I just really enjoy giving the gift of life to others. I love being pregnant and childbirth is rewarding. I would stay pregnant if my family was not already complete!

My husband is very open and supportive and falls in love with me more and more with each child. He was totally ok letting another man pull his baby from my body so he was the “first” to hold his child. Amazing! I love that man with all my heart.

Intended parents need to be open-minded and confirmed to be unable to have a child of their own. They should be okay with natural childbirth out of  a medical setting and realize a doctor will not be there to play catch. They should be comfortable seeing a real birth and prepared for seeing me in discomfort during the birth.  I trust my body and the idea couple would too. Dates are just dates and my body will signal the time and place that the baby will be born, not a moment sooner!

I will only give birth to the first child of both parents. Very open to the idea of having multiables should you need to implant more than just one embryo. I am extreanely fertail and for the right couple, I would be willing to conceive a baby for someone that has low sperm count. I also love unique things and situations!

I love having babies, nature’s way(ish)!

Each stage of labor is different. Most woman do not enjoy giving birth and will seek pain relieve options to block out the pain involved with giving birth. I like to think of pain from childbirth as a gift from mother nature. If we should not have to be subjected to the pain associated with giving birth our bodies would have been made differently. Labor is labor! It was meant to be difficult, long, and hard. Our bodies are doing what they were built to do. Have babies!
